My mom is celebrating her 60th in a few weeks and a fabulous occasion such as this needs some fabulous invitations to go with it. I LOVE invitations, so this was by no means a chore. First I found these babies on etsy:

However, like many things in my family, this was a last minute request and I worried that they wouldn’t get here in time. So, I hit up all of my favorite places in search of a quick substitute.
I found this at the Bookshop at the Cantor Arts Center on Stanford Campus, but they’re also available through the The Arts and Crafts Press website. As fate would have it, the peony cards arrived the right after I got home with my new invitations. Luckily, no one minds having a couple of extra cards on hand:)
