It’s that time again. I know it’s still a month away, but I’m one of those weird people who loves Valentines day no matter what they’re romantic status is. I love it simply because of the colors associated with it happen to be my favorite. Red! Pink! White! Etc! So if you do plan on writing to a loved one this month, you might want to load up on some of these:

Cards by Jocelyn Gomes

Cards by Pocket Studio

Love chains by Ormolu

Card by Porridge Papers

Timber card by Cracked Designs

Cards by Oddball Press

These cards always a favorite.
Sorry, I really shouldn’t pun on an empty stomach.

I was intrigued when I saw this great paper wreath tutorial via Katy Elliott this morning. She makes it look amazingly simple and I was bummed that I hadn’t discovered it during the holidays. But I got bored this afternoon, so I made it anyway.
The colors are a little Valentines day(ish), which just happens to be the next major (albeit fake) holiday, but it was completely unintentional. I just wanted a colorful wreath so I could use it year round!
I should have done this right after the paper swap, but better late than never eh?
Personally, I thought the swap went very well considering it was our first. But I wanted to get some feedback from people who either participated in the swap or were intrigued by the idea as to what they liked, didn’t like, what needed clarification, etc. I already have a few tweaks in mind, but I’m open to suggestions.
So I’ve decided to turn this post into a little forum and I encourage you to leave a comment or send an email to: paperswap08@gmail.com with your thoughts on the swap. My only request is that you specify whether or not you actually participated in the swap so I can keep track of everyone. Thanks!
