Mini Mail

I received this letter a while back from the very talented Lea Redmond, post master of the World’s Smallest Post Office.

I know a lot of people have sent and received letters through her wonderful service, but this one was different….

Is that the world’s smallest secruity envelope?!! I might have squealed. Just a little.

So utterly adorable! I received the letter weeks ago, but was inspired to post about it today when I got an email about some of her newest projects. Just when you thought mini mail couldn’t get any cuter, here comes the World’s Smallest Package!

I want to get one just for the packaging! They’re only $10 each, so I might just order one for myself! 🙂 Check out more of Lea’s work over at Leafcutter Designs.

Valentine’s Day Cards

My favorite holiday is approaching! I’ve been seeing some beautiful things drifting around the web. Here are some of my favorites:

I absolutely ADORE Rifle paper! And I’m not alone, via Paper Crave

Something beautiful followed by something snarky. You know just what I like Spark!

Oh man, I wish I could do calligraphy. Leafie Calligraphy

This is more like my handwriting. Only neater. Ice Cream Social Paper

A new fav Bread of Many

I saw these silhouette valentines from Owly Shadow Puppets on the same Paper Crave post and I can’t decide if I love the valentine or the envelope more!

A gorgeous little card within a card! I’m such a sucker. Missive via Oh So Beautiful Paper

It seems everyone is loving the card within a card this year! The inside card is blank for you to write your own message. Sweet Baker

Altered Portraits by Treatzone

I happened upon these lovely altered portraits by local artists Treatzone when I was adding some new photos to flickr. What luck! They’re part of a new show called Swipple and Gold at the Ever Gold Gallery in San Francisco and soon mini (and less expensive) versions of their altered portraits will be available at Cog and Pearl!

I just love those frames! I can’t wait to get my hands on one of the smaller yet equally awesome versions.

Castle In the Air

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I celebrated the new year by visiting one of my favorite places ever: Castle in the Air in Berkeley. This time I remembered to ask if I could take some pictures and they said yes!

It took three people to decorate this tree:

I wanted everything.

Sparkly gnomes!

Where I get all my sealing wax:

If you’re ever in the Bay Area, this place is definitely worth stopping for.
